Feeling like you can’t focus? Lacking motivation? Not feeling like you can turn your intentions into action? Your brain might suffer from too little dopamine.
Here are a few ways to get back on track. If possible, try to implement them in your daily routine:
• Dairy products
• Chocolate (>70% cacao)
• Food with a high dose of vitamin C (like oranges) and E (like sunflower oil).
• 30 - 60 minutes
• This does not have to be very intensive. Even a romantic walk across the beach counts.
• 7 - 8 hours
• Your body needs sleep to recover, your brain needs sleep to process all stimuli during the day. Sleep is important for a lot of things and sleep deprivation has many negative consequences on your memory and overall well being. Of course it won’t hurt if you sleep less a day or two, but try to not make it a habit!
And last but definitely not least: sex. Enjoy it!
